One of my favorite experiences with this series was the banter between Mel and Liam. I cried (more than once), my jaw dropped in surprise (more than once) and laughed out loud (more than once). This book left me with a myriad of emotions. We see a different side of Mel and Liam as parents, but as quickly as we see their love and softness towards their family, we see their ultimate fight when protecting their family and it’s name. Mel and Liam will stop at nothing to protect their family and children. There is absolute destruction in this book at every turn. Endured ups an downs like no one could ever imagine and they have always landed on their feet, and still on a pedestal. Melody and Liam have lived unbelievable lives. When JJ McAvoy began this series I would have never know that it would be my all time favorite Mafia series EVER. In January 2015 I was introduced to Liam and Melody in Ruthless People, then followed their journey in American Savages in March of 2015…then The Untouchables in May of 2015 and then over one year later I have finally been blessed with A Bloody Kingdom.
